Why We Started CrossBorder
CrossBorder Career Solutions, LLC was born out of a firsthand understanding of two parallel crises: a growing teacher shortage in American schools and an abundance of highly qualified, experienced educators in countries around the world who dream of teaching in the United States.
Our founders spent years working in international education, teacher recruitment, and J-1 visa program administration. They saw schools struggling to fill critical positions in STEM, Special Education, and bilingual instruction — and they saw talented teachers in the Philippines, Latin America, Africa, and beyond who had the credentials, the experience, and the passion to fill those roles.
The problem wasn't a lack of talent. It was a lack of connection — and a lack of a trusted partner to navigate the complex process of international teacher recruitment, credential evaluation, and visa coordination. CrossBorder was built to be that partner.
